Went the farthest West it is possible to go in order to attend a wedding reception. I was a bit worried because it was kaiseki-ryori -- basically an endless stream of delicious Japanese food served on countless dishes. Luckily my kids needed constant minding as they were immediately bored, so I barely had a chance to eat even half of everything. Plus my wife was starving as she is still nursing so she was happy to eat whatever I did not.
I was not timing, but I get the general impression that about 15 minutes after I start eating, if I stop I do not necessarily feel like I have to keep eating. Interesting.
