bento and veg

Yakiudon and chicken with veggies, steamed broccoli.
Followed up with a post-workout small banana and protein drink.

Steamed broccoli is The Schnizzle. I think I will steam my spinach next time instead of boiling it.

Good lunch workout -- got the studio at the gym just before the Pilate's class; finished my last creep across the floor as they started to trickle in at the start of class.
Also figure out that I could do the chest dips by raising both workout benches to 45 degrees and dipping between them. Nice padded seats are easy to hold onto and those benches weigh so much they didn't move at all.
Crushed myself to failure on the shoulder raises and somehow managed to get through something approximating all the v-sits.

But I definitely need more sleep. Patrick is right: I can feel my muscles are still tired from the past couple of days and I need to give them a chance to rebuild. Four hours a night is not enough, though I typically manage six (in bed by midnight, up at 6am.)
At least today is Friday, so if I get to sleep by midnight my kids might actually let me sleep in until 8am and then I am good to go!

  1. If you keep training on 4 hours of sleep, you WILL get sick. No maybes about it. Do whatever you can to get some shut eye!
